Diary: Estate Sales, Shoes, Restore Pilot 240 amp

I went to a couple estate sales but I didn't find anything I wanted (I found stuff only once in three or four months). After that I went to school for Dr. Martin's class and went home about 3pm. The Steve Madden shoes and the Pilot 240 amp had arrived. I spent about two hours to check and to replace a 20m capacitor of the amp before I fired it up. The tubes are fisher tubes and I think they are all amprerex and all tubes are tested in very good conditions in my tube B&K tester. The 240 sounds very close to the sp210 and sa232 combo. But I think many people don't like it because of its smaller output transformers comparing the sa-232. The amp sounds very smooth, warm, slow, and mellow but the image is not very clear. Perhaps I have to wait for about a week till the amp warms up before I make any more comment.

Diary: Study, Comic, and a Japanese TV series

I did a lot of thinking of numerical hw and the prelim questions. Brian and I did the hw quite quick together but I still stayed at my office till 8pm before I went home. When I got home, I was so hungry and just opened a can of salmon for dinner. After dinner, I went to broswe online. I sent a link for online comics to Edward and I spent sometimes to read some comics there too. I just downloaded a new japanese series and I think it is called "The Sun's Song". The video takes place in Nikko (It is like Kaneohe in Hawaii for me.) I like it and I finished the first esp. Btw, I am so excited for tomorrow because a new toy (the pilot intergrated amp) will be shipped to my place in the afternoon.

Diary: Presentation, Video Game, and Chinese Food

In Doctor Martins class today, two groups did their presentations. They did very well on in terms of presenting but I think they could do more research on their topics. Anywa, now I am in trouble since I work by myself for this group project and I told him that I will present mine on next tuesday. This weekend I may have to make something up if I want to pass the class. Tonight I played PS2 with David. We played the game "Ghost in Shell". It was a hard game. We may need three more days to finish the game. I also watched some of the chinese cooking video tonight too. The food was so delicous and really want to try to make some chinese food to eat tomorrow.

Hard time in life is like unto stinky toilet.
I deal with many nasty one through out my life.
Shit is there but I still put my butt on it.
Nevertheless, I feel the joy and relief everytime I get out.

Diary: Drunk, and Yoshie

Brian and I finally figured out part of a prelim question on NA after about an hour and half struggling. I was quite busy today doing all kind of work in my office. I made an exam for my students and I also went to talk to Dr. Wang for my graduation plan. I went home about 7:30pm and I cooked Ma Po Tofu for David. He liked it a lot. I feel bad sometimes cause I don't come home early enough to cook for him. I was so drunk tonight. I think I drank too much Vodka but I enjoyed the time to listen to my amp while I was quite drunk. I tried to think about a poem on Toliet. And I think I will post it tomorrow when I get more idea.

I am quite excited tonight to hear from Yoshie. She is living a bit north of Toyko in Ninomiya Tsukuba Ibaraki now. I really want to see her since it has been a very long time. She also told me about Hisaaki. He is one of my old friend back in Hawaii too. And she told me about Rie too. I got tons of places that I have to visit. Wow! I need to plan my trip very wisely.

Diary: Church, Express, Dinner, and Chocolate Cobber

I got up at 11am and I went to church with Quinn to the 4th ward on Frankford. After the sacrament was done, I went home for lunch and I also adjusted some pics for JiaXian. I posted 11 pics but she only likes 4 out of those. I went to Mall with Cathy, Taka, and Yuko. We went to Gap and Express. I tried a white shirt and a sweather in Gap but Cathy said I looked too mature. When we went in Express, I tried some shirts that are on sale. Too bad, they are too big for me. I need a extra small. So I did not get anything and I went to Brandon's home for dinner. Carrie made tons of food for me and the missionaries. We had baked chicken and salad, rolls, and home made apple sauce. They were so yumme and I ate too much. After dinner, we had much talk. Brandon and I are planning to play racket ball on Tuesday at 5pm. We wanted to do it like two weeks ago but we were so busy that we canceled the game twice. Quinn and Fanny called us to go to their home for chocolate cobber. It was late for Brandona and Carrie to go so I went by myself. The chocolate cobber that he made was so good. I wanted to eat more but I could not. They looked at my web and we talked to Jeremey and Kristen on the phone. Jeremey got rasied for his job 3 times in 2 months. Also, Fanny found a job in Lubbock here. It means Quinn can quit his job and focus on his studying.
