I got up at 1pm in the afternoon. I called the ABC travel agent and I bought the ticket ($1290) to HK. My schedule is July 2nd to tokyo and July 18th to HK and Aug 26th back to Lubbock. Afterward, I went outside to clean up the frontyard because of the bbq last night. I saw Linda and we started talking right away. David also came to join us a couple mins later. We were laughing the whole time talking about home improvement. David has a lot of big plan but everything is going to cost him an arm and a leg. He wanted to install an automatic spinklers in the front yard ($2000). He also wants to change the garge door ($1200). Cut the trees in our front yard ($600). And more...... I actually got a bit of sun burn after I standed there for an hour.
Later I went to J&B coffee shop to meet Yuko, Taka, Eliza, Karen, Alime, and Asli. We planned to stay in Lake Allen Henry only for Sat and Sun (Too short! I want a three days trip!). We also divided the cooking assignment for everyone. Taka and I are going to be chefs on both Sunday breakfast and lunch. Actually, Alisa is going to join Taka and I to cook on Sunday too. I just met Alisa at the J&B coffee shop and I invited her to the trip with us. She seems like a very wonderful person with lots of experiences about camping. She is also in the human science dept that she knows Damon and Kimball. Anyway, we have 8 people to go to camping with us now. I am so lazy tonight that I forgot to email them the list of personal items for the camping. I will for sure to email them tomorrow morning.
Taka and I went to walmart and checked out the fishing equipment. Since the year pass fishing licence($26) is going to end in Aug, Taka and I decided to get a day pass ($11) for fishing. It is going to be fun. I have not been fishing for a very long time. Now I get the chance to show my kungfu. I am very interested to make a fishing trap to trap fish. I think it is more effective. I need to find out if it is ok here. Taka and I went to Tacovilla on 19th street later. The food was good but cheap and we had a great time of the guys talks there (the environment is clear, nice, and quiet. For me, it looks like olive garden). We talked about everything. (Guys and girls and many other things.) He is like one of my best high school buddies that we can talk anything. He is also going to Hong Kong in summer and stay with me. And we plan to visit china together right after I get my new Hong Kong ID. Wow! I am going to visit tokyo, nikko, Nagoya, Hong Kong, China (so many cities in china that I want to visit .... ) The 2007 summer for me is going to be an endless summer in Asia.
