Since I got back last night at 5:30am, I slept till 12pm in the afternoon. I felt a little dizzy when I got up but after awhile it was gone. It was raining crazy outside. Patrick told me that there were a couple tornato around tech and his fire alarm was on. I had no desire to go out so I started to post many pics in my blog here.
Later Ken called me and we talked for more than an hour about camera lens. He is also using a nikon d50 and he asked me some opinions about 24mm f2 ais. I use a 24mm f2.8 ais so I know a lot of great deal about 24mm lens. It is one of my favorite lens. It is so useful. I can use it for landscapes, portraits, & marco (with br-2 ring). The lens is sharp and small. I like to carry it all the time with me. Long time ago when I was like Ken just started to buy photo gears. I had so many lens and other stuffs. However, most of the prime and zoom tele lens were so heavy and huge. It was very painful to carry them around. The problem also was I did not use them 90% of the time. Now with 24mm and a d50. It is even more covenient to carry them around. I really enjoy taking pics with 24mm. If I really want to buy a lens I would only go for auto 50mm f1.8 because it is very cheap and sharp. And with auto 50mm I can also buy the SB-600 flash light............ it is just a dream. I am short of money.......hummmmm
I went to China town with dogqueen, alice, cathy, steven pung, steven dong, steve lee, steve, chris chi, cathy, minnie, & jennifer. We had a feast each person ordered a dish and we got tons of food. I was lucky to sit in the middle and I could had all the food passing to me. I ate so much and I was so full. We went to Bowling on slide ( behind barns and nobles ) afterward. It was rain hard and Steven Pung was so funny that he did not see the ramp and he went into that. Lucky he did not drive a new car. I did not play any bowling (my right ankle is still hurting) but I had much beer there. I wanted to drink more but I had to drive home...... Too bad...... The girls took much pics there. It was so fun to see everyday was enjoying the night.
