Diary: Emotion

HiFi is hard to fool around with. Tonight, I was listening to my console version of sp210 preamp. I found out the sound is missing something. The sound is not tight enough. The tension is not there. So I switched the other sp210 which doesn't use the original output wires. The sound has changed. I could feel the sound is more open, transparent, and dynamic. I can't believe the sound has changed that much. Prehaps, it is because of the GoodAll caps. Anyway, I am going to keep both preamps since my cd player is not a good source. I want to wait until I get a good source before I decide which one to let go. Here is a pic of my amps! The silver item between the turntable and the cd player is the Pilot sp210 preamp (home version without cover!).
