Diary: Street racing
Tonight was fun. I went to the european car club. It was a surprise that Anthony got a new toy. He traded his BMW z4 to a yellow Corvette. The car is big and nice. After we talked a bit, we decided to drive to Applebee on south loop to eat. So the game began. I chased Corbett's Audi S4. His audi has a twin turbo (Garrett T3?) and is pumping 400+hp from the V6. His car is running rich. I could smell that the whole time. With the light weight and the supercharger, my raddo always has some advantages. However, I still lost him on my second. His car is pulling so quick that I could barely catch up with him. I was doing about 90 before I could catch him. Of course, in straight road, horse power means everything. My cornering machine is not a traffic light warrior. So the other team mate was challenging him with his GTI (2000?). I was talking with him about the mod of his car earier. He only told me quite a few but he did not mention the car has 300+ hp. Oh, they makes my 190 hp raddo like nothing. Anyway, they raced from 50th street light. When the audi started to go, the whole car was turning clock wise. I thought he might lose tracion and turn around. On the other hand, the GTI was quick. It was fast. It was almost half of a car ahead until the audi catching up on 55 mph. The two cars are just monsters. We had a great time talking about cars in Applebee, and I ordered ribs there. It was so good and I was so full. Also, I got some idea about chroming the engine. Anothony told me there are two places doing it in Lubbock. So it will be my project to chrome the G60 in this summer. i will make the engine shinning.
