I was so busy today I went to some estate sale and I found a toy there. It was a motarola's El84 tube console ($18). I was so happy since it had the Holy Mullard el84 tubes there and all 12ax7's are also Mullard. (The tubes themselves worths about $200+) I told the lady that I would come back later to pick it up. After the Numerical class, I went and picked up the 84 Lebaron and I went to pick up the whole console. It was quite big but I put the whole thing in the trunk. Of course, I took out all the lovely tubes. I went home; took the preamp and amp out from the console; and played the tubes in a little bit. The sound of mullard is very very natural the bass is stronger but I still like the amperex that gives me a bit excitement. Anyway, I went to the outdoor pursuit center later. Eliza, Karen, Kumi, Taka, and Yuko were there. We picked up the tents and sleep bags quite quick but the canoe took Taka and I forever to tie onto the Lebaron.
We went to Yamagata for dinner but Eliza did not join us. I ordered the steak sirloin again. We had a seaweed and octopus salad. It was quite delicious. Of course, my steak tasted so good too.
We went to Walmart and United afterward to shop. Again, it took us forever. We all went to CrispCream for free donut later for refreshment. When we were done with the donuts, I suggested to go to bar but Karen was so tried so we went to strip to get some beer and wine and then we all went to her home (Yuko dropped me off to pick up my Lexus). We drank and played much card games (not including Karen) and we also finished most of her snacks. Well, we were so tried and I drank so much that we all decided to sleep on the floor at about 4am. It was a good move I knew I would get caught if I drove.
